There’s no denying in our minds that Mother Nature is one of the illest groups out. The dynamic duo Klevah and T.R.U.T.H. go super hard on the bars over a crazy instrumental from Najja OZ on “Run It Up”. Between this and their last release “MVMNT” Mother Nature seems to be gearing up for a crazy next release so keep it locked as these two don’t seem to be letting up anytime soon, and def get familiar with them as they be doing some dope stuff out in the world. Fuck with it.
Produced by the heavy hitters Saba and Daoud—- Saba goes absolutely insane along with Mfn Melo on “How You Live”…Both these PIVOT brethren have had supremely solid years on the music shit in 2017, its hard to imagine how we’d be living without them scoring the day to day. Doesn’t look like theres any slowing up the progression anytime soon. Rock with these rockstars.
https://soundcloud.com/user-846320074/sevenpm If you’ve followed our Wiggidies Wednesday, you most likely have heard the sounds of Freezy and Pimp Jong Ill. Well today is the re-emergence as they begin their assault on the Chicago scene with “7Pm”. Produced by Pimp Jong Ill himself, “7Pm” slaps.
You don’t want Sllime in your house, you don’t want him smoking on your couch half sleep, you don’t want your kids saying his name in the mirror. With “Gholieman” you can pretty much take his words at face value as to why you wouldn’t want any of that. New Sllime music, here to frighten and disturb and get your head knocking. Enjoy.
We wholeheartedly welcome new Mick whenever he serving the musics, him pairing with greenSLLIME got us even more hype, and the fact that they basing a track off one of the most under rated 90’s horror flicks out there— well its bonus’ all around. Mick apparently got a couple projects and an album on the way so be prepared for another wave to crash.
Study Hall is on the way and we couldn’t be more hyped to hear this full length project from Ambi and co. Having heard “Miss Me”—and a couple other tracks on the low— we know she’s coming with the heaters. On the subject of “Miss Me” tho, Ambi teams up with Strip Mall to deliver a hot lil’ visual for the track and theMIND joins in on the fun. Take a look, and get hype for more new music!
Little did we know we’ve been appreciating a lot of these tracks live for sometime, but hearing them mixed and mastered as intended to be heard is a whole new spin and breathe of life into the music that we didn’t even know we were clamoring for. LA VanGogh is one of the most musical talents Chicago has on the come up, and Everything is Subjective: Episode 1 shows of not only the skill but the imagination that goes into the curation of this awesome project. Well worth checking out, we can only hope there are more episodes on the way. Enjoy.
We’ve been lucky enough to see some amazing artists do their thing in Chicago, and one of our favorites is Loona Dae. Initially coming to her work via The Highness Collective, we’ve marveled at how each member’s solo careers have been incredible gifts to our young music world, filled with versatility and vibes that have given us some much needed life. Loona’s last project Phases was a short but sweet collection of tracks that left us on the edge of our seat for more music. It’s no wonder that Smino knew her talents would help bring Blkswn alive on stage for the tour. Now we’re proud to bring you our collaboration with Loona as she partnered with us for the video on her latest track “Breathe”. Be on the look out for more from Loona, it’s good for your health.
We been rocking with Ambi for a long time, and we’re here to tell y’all that you are about to be blown away by her next project Study Hall. Today she just gives y’all a sample of whats to come, but in a big way with a featured from theMIND on an amazing track “Miss Me”. These two together are really something fierce. Be on the look out for Study Hall and keep your eyes peeled for more on the way! Art on this from the homie Jake Merten btw.
We been rocking with Loona for a minute and the other day she let loose a new track “Breathe”. This track, contemplative, introspective, and def capable of putting you in a chill headspace is in lead up to a new project, which we’re def in much anticipation for as her musicality goes crazy. Keep your eyes out for newness from Loona Das
